How do you choose the right fit??

I am currently working as an RN on a med/surg floor. I like it but I have worked there for a year and I am ready to move on and move up in the world and get some more experience. However I am having a hard time trying to figure out what area to go into. I have thought about ICU, or PACU, or even peds or OB. Problem is is that I don't know what I would like. I didn't have a very long experience in any of those areas in clinicals so it was hard to get a good picture being a student. Also some of the areas you need to have experience for so its hard to get into. I was just wondering if there was anyone that could give me some advice on what areas you like or if you had a bad experience or any kind of info about the different areas would help!!
