dealing with my stna'sRating: (votes: 0) you are overwehml drink a nice hot tea Comment: I try to work as a team with my stna's. They have assignments that I delegate and oversee. If i see they are "bored" or sitting around I ask them to help me with things I need done. Obviously not nursing tasks but such things as getting new 02 tubing and masks or helping my turn a resident to complete a tx or put cream on them, maybe have them sit with a anxious resident and talk to them . I help them out during the shift so this is not one sided. I try not to "order" them to do things just ask for help and say please They are always happy to help and I think it makes them feel important and like we are on the same level. They are happy I check up on them and verify they are completing their tasks because I got their back if management says anything and I am the one completing their reviews. I feel like I am being their superior yet we are a team. Out of respect and our friendship we help each other out.Comment: It is very helpful working in teams.
