do i HAVE to take a foreign language if i already know spanish??

hello, ive noticed that a foreign language is required for most colleges..i was wondering if i have to take the courses in college if i already know a foreign language (spanish)...???? please help!!!

Why don't you contact the college your thinking of applying to?
i have like 10 on my list..lol..im starting college this august..i guess i'll wait till i talk to a counselor..thanks anyway tho. =)
For some colleges, you may be able to test out. For others, they may simply require a "humanities" course, which could be any number of other classes besides foreign languages. Theater/drama was one of the options that I could have taken instead of a language.
thanks for the response poetnyouknowit but the schools im interested in actually require the foreign language within the humanities units..schools such as csusb, loma linda, etc
