Hitting the pavement??Rating: (votes: 9) ![]() I drive an hour to work now and am hoping to find a Dr's office in my area hiring. What's the most professional way to do this? I have looked on job sites with not much to find, but I know lots of offices use staffing centers. Is it unprofessional to just go in to some and hand them my resume?? Just curious Thanks ![]() I don't think it's unprofessional....I would however, do a little research on each practice before you walk in to hand over your resume. That way if they are looking for someone for their practice, and the hiring manager is there and invites you in to talk, you will be more prepared. It will look more like you are interested in that particular practice, rather than just driving around stopping in to every Dr.'s office in the neighborhood (even if you DO hit up a few in an afternoon ) |
