career –
Been working @ a SNF badly wants an acute hosp job!Rating: (votes: 0)
I have been an RN supervisor at a skilled nursing facility for more than 2 years. I have learned a lot during that time period but I've always wanted to work in an acute setting. I am very much aware of the scarcity of jobs available in hospitals here in Southern California, which is very discouraging. Hospitals are looking for nurse with acute experience which I am lacking, & technically I am not a new grad. I don't fit in any of the criteria. The acuity at my current work is high for a SNF & I know I can handle being an RN in an acute setting.
I need help & advice, thank you for the time.  I live in Orange county, anybody that can lend a hand? |
