Working as RN in US while living in Canada

Hi, I am a Registered Nurse from India currently a Permanent Resident of Canada. I have passed the NCLEX-RN in 2007 from California Board of Nursing. I want to work as RN in US while living in Canada-I live in Abbotsford BC near Canada US border. I dont have US SSN. Plz guide me how to get US SSN and whom should I contact.
Unless you have a visa allowing you to work in the US there is no way at the moment for you to go this route. If you have Canadian citizen a TN visa may be an option but you would need a employer. until you have a valid work/immigrant visa you can not get a US SSN
