RN to RT

I was wondering if a registered nurse has switched careers to be a RT? or can RNs be certified as RT?

[font=times]hey 2bnurse_it!sorry to post on this question, but i can't send private messages to you so i thought i would try this way. i would love your advice and thoughts....i have recently been accepted into apu's elm san diego campus and saw that you once attended this program. i am trying to decide between staying close to home and attending apu or attending columbia. i have tried to research more about the sd campus/program, but haven't found much. i would love your thoughts and experience with the apu sd program, did you like it? did you feel you were prepared to become a successful nurse? were the professors and staff helpful in guiding you throughout your time and jobs prospects as an rn? any thoughts or advice would be great! thanks so much! kelly
