EPIC expert zero clinical experience

I live in SF and have a BSN which I finished in May 2010. I am one of those sad stories that have applied up and down the state of California for almost 2 years and have been met with absolute failure!!! I am no longer a 'new grad' and can't apply to those programs anymore. I have 10 years of IT experience and have taken a job helping a major hospital with their EPIC electronic medical records. I have become an expert at Epic's RN Inpatient system. I still want to get clinical experience. Will my EPIC knowledge help me? How do I get out of this situation and what jobs can I now apply for given that I've been out of school for almost 2 years? Do hospitals actually value my EPIC expertise??? When is this nursing glut going to end, if ever???? it has been almost 4 years now!!!!
