TX criminal history report expiration...?

I just finished nursing school and I am looking to apply in TX. I just read that they reqire a criminal history report. I recently recieved (less than 6 months ago) a report for school purponses. Can I use that report to apply for my boards since it is less than one year old? Or do I need to resubmit? Im asking since on their site it mentions chr lasting for one year.
It would probably be more reliable to simply call them and ask.
