COTC LPN to RNRating: (votes: 0) ![]() I just started a new job with someone who did the RN program at COTC, she absolutely loved it. I wish it was closer to my home as I am an LPN trying to obtain my associates. I am currently attending Shawnee State but the program is so long even already being an LPN. Thinking of checking into Hockings LPN/RN evening weekend program. Comment:
I did two qtr. of Hocking's night and weekend LPN to RN then quit. It's a good program if you have the time to dedicate to it. I couldn't work full time in col. then go there 2 nights a week plus clinicals every other Sat and Sun. on top of being a wife/mom. It takes 2 years to complete. Columbus State is too hard to get into so I think I'm going to stick with trying for OUZ and COTC. Good Luck to you!

It is soooo hard trying to work and go to school at the same time. I just started a new job in a physicians office, even though it is part time working all day then going to class in the evening is very hard. I am checking into doing the Excelsior program I know a couple of LPN's that are in the program, one just passed her RN-NCLEX. She sais it is convienent if you have to keep working. She had 3 jobs while doing the program. Good luck whatever route you go.
