It is amazing what they can do with HLHS babies now. A good friend of mine has a 3 year old daughter who had HLHS. She almost died a year and half ago and received a heart transplant with very little time left. She is now an active preschooler and doing pretty well.I just noticed he was at the same hospital that did her surgery, they are one of the best when it comes to HLHS!
