Will a Doctor help ya out??Rating: (votes: 0) Hi johnny depp23:From my experience, doctors are humans. Some will gladly help you and others will not. If you run into the latter kind, do not take it personally... Maybe they had a rough day, etc.. If you are fortunate to get the former kind, please be sure to say thank you and let them know how much you appreciate their help. Comment:

Why would they not just because they're doctors?
Comment:
Depends on the individual physician, but, generally, yes.

Why not ask a CRNA if you can shadow?

My docs will love to teach, as long as you ask a question when they are not crazy busy.
Comment:
As long as your timing is right and the question is fairly simple, then fine.Use your common sense. During a code is not the time to ask about work, as you can imagine.

"During a code is not the time to ask about work, as you can imagine." funny!
Comment:
Nah, but on more than one occasion I've talked about what we were going to do for lunch during a code.
Comment:
Depends on person, not title.

Op, most doctors love airing their knowledge! Ask them intelligent questions and they will love you to bits-even the crusty ones!As for asking questions in the middle of a code.... none of the (thankfully rare) codes that I was involved in allowed time for asking unrelated questions....
Comment:
I try to ask non-urgent questions when they aren't in a hurry, but most MDs are pretty willing to answer questions.
