Any ESFJ's out there...Rating: (votes: 0) Thanks ENTP here. I am most comfortable in critical care - very bossy & a real control 'enthusiast'. Comment:
I'm ENFJ, I'm in LTC, Pre-hospital, Cardiac Critical Care. Alittle of everything I guess. LOL

ESFJ - "Seller". Most sociable of all types. Nurturer of harmony. Outstanding host or hostesses. 12.3% of total population I just took the test and got the same answer. I work in critical care- MICU and CCU for adults and geriatrics. Im honestly not sure if it fits my personality. I am super organized, anal retentive. I like interacting with the families, building rapport, and making them feel better. I am the type that had to have the house clean before I could sit and study. At work, neatness, cleanliness, and the ability to know where everything is in a pt room is important to me. I hate following messier folks. All my lines and cables have to be untangled...I'll talk to just about anyone, but only if they talk first, and I have only couple real friends. People fluster me easily and I wear my heart on my sleeve. ~Ivanna

I'm an INF/TJ. I'm a very strong 'I,' and am worried that will work against me in nursing (I'm not in nursing school yet, but am working in a hospital)...but once I'm comfortable with people/situation, I'm very competent and an effective communicator. I just need an adjustment period - and I know sometimes in nursing you don't get one. I'm hoping to go into an ICU/CVICU setting after school, and I know it's going to be a huge challenge for me.I'm essentially 50/50 F/T...the few times I've taken a myers-briggs I've gotten alternating results in that category.

Ivanna Nurse - great to here that there is another ESFJ in the field. I too am organized. I like my work environment to be neat and clean, it helps me to concentrate better. And I like talking to people as well...I'm sure this skill will come in handy in nursing.

I'm ESFJ. Extravert, Sensor, Feeler, Judger.I am actually taking pre-req's to get into nursing school. So I've been taking these personality tests to see what careers would suit my personality type. I didn't take the tests before I started nursing. I just wanted to reinforce what I am striving to attain in life. This is 2nd career for me. 30 years old, married, 2 small children. I want what I do to benefit me as well as my family. This information makes me feel even better and motivates me to work even harder to get where I AM GOING.....
