Any RNFA's with NP component out there? Few questions: What are your duties on the surgical service and what specialty? What are your duties as the NP? Are you following patients, writing orders, post-op care ect...? While in the OR, are you working under your RN (some states vary) license or the NP?
I have a question about billing. I know in some states, the RNFA can get reimbursement- are you billing as a RN or NP? If you are billing for the RNFA, are you billing for post-op/ following care under the NP, or are they considered the same care? Any help on your job description and how you function would be greatly appreciative. |
