How do I know?

I wanted to ask the veteran nurses or a nurse who has had experience in this field before, what I should do or how do I go about finding this information out?
If a school is accredited but it is a "christian" private college does that mean that if I go onto a Master's program outside of this school or a nurse practioner program does that my BSN classes count? Is there a state site that you can find online or do you go directly through the future college to find out? Does anyone have experience with private religious colleges and whether they have different requirments or qualifications that does not transfer or are not accepted in other universities? If it is state accredited it should work, right? My BSN should be cleared and I should be able to get into a master program from another university, right? How can I find out the info I need? I would appriciate all the help I can get before I make the big decision.

didn't happen to me, it happened to my cousin. she went to an accredited catholic college, and graduated with a 4.0 average. she was accepted into grad school, just not her first choice.the committee said she had taken too many religion courses.

I graduated from an accredited Christian university in Ohio and had no problem getting into grad school.

The best way to know if your credits will transfer would be to contact the college you are thinking of attending for grad school and verify with them. Good luck with your schooling.

I graduated from an ASN program from a small catholic college (Sisters of Mercy) that was NLN accredited and that didn't stop me from being accepted to and graduating from a BSN program at a large public state school that was accredited by the CCNE. Further more, it didn't stop me from being accepted into a graduate school that's CEPH/CCNE accredited.

Like others, if it is accredited you are fine. I got my BSN from Texas Christian University, and have been accepted to several different Master's programs (I just haven't figured out what exactly I want to do yet, lol!)

Thank you for all the support. The school is BRN, CCNE, WASC so that should be fine, right?
