I don't know where this post is going, or even what exactly you're trying to say, but being the daughter of a Vietnam vet and wife of an Iraq vet - Im almost positive that there is always an array of innocent victims. Unfortunately in a war, people die - otherwise it wouldn't be a war. As for the two people you mentioned, they are two of 100s who have died in the recent war, and two of 1000s who have died in the combined wars (Iraq and Vietnam) and two of 10s of thousands who've died in wars in general (WW1,WW2, Pearl Harbor, Civil War, etc...). What are you trying to say here? No one wants to gloat over tragic war stories, but it is what it is. We are in a war. Its not the 1st and Im sure it wont be the last. Wars have gone on forever. I wish we could live in a peaceful world too, but that's easier said than done, in a world where many different beliefs exist. That is just the facts.

I've lost relatives in every war since the War Between the States. My father's brother died of wounds received on D-Day in WWII. War is terrible, horrible and yet it still goes on. I don't pretend to understand what you are asking, but ANY vet who stands by our country has my undying appreciation.

You should learn the real facts before just believing everything you hear in the media. Here is a news flash, these zealots use women and children to hurt Americans. They will use women and children as human shields and they will also hide explosives under a woman's dress to make it look like she is pregnant. Instead she will walk into a crowded marketplace and detonate the bomb. Even if these people were innocent, it is war and it unfortunately happens. As a Vietnam Vet you should know that. In fact America is the only country that goes out of its way to minimize civilian casualties. Do you think the enemy extends the same courtesy to us?
