How long is your commute?

Call me crazy, but I am considering commuting to my next nursing job! (Still in school here, so I am just day dreaming) I live in NorthWest Florida where nursing jobs are a rare find, not to mention the low pay for Florida nurses. I actually commute now to Houston TX every other week for my flight attendant job. I am thinking about applying to some Level I and II hospitals out there, as a PRN, because I do have the benefits of stand by flying. I hope to work a day, two or three there and fly home. I do not want to move out of my paradise home..!
56 seconds by car.4.55 mins by foot.

8 large blocks...takes me 6 minutes on a bike

Including the time it takes me to drop my son off at school, about 45 minutes, each way.

40 miles / 45 minutes.

35 miles. It takes anywhere from 45 minutes to 2 hours, depending on time of day. Seattle traffic can be brutal!! Oh and $15/day for parking!!

Comment:
2 hrs

7 min. Unless there is a snow storm then it's about 20 min.

Comment:
3 minutes, 5 if I take my time and listen to the radio.I put very few miles on my car per year, and can go two weeks between refueling.

Comment:
Literally about 30 seconds. 1 minute if traffic is heavy.

3 miles.Free parkingI park right in front of the side entrance to ICU, so it takes me a whopping 36 seconds to walk from my car to our unit
