2 So I just dropped a NG on a patient who was vomiting all shift. 500 MLS straight up.

I love that instantaneous reward. (and the peace from the dramatic wailing with every vomit was nice as well).

What gives you a kick?
Getting an IV that three other people couldn't get.

Asked for an order for caffeine pills for a patient that hadn't been able to kick a headache for 24 hours straight despite oxycodone, tramadol, and dialudid. Hour after I gave the first dose: "Oh my! I feel like a new person!"
