My left arm is heavily bruised and all my veins are bright red

I have a questions, I had a PICC line tried to be inserted into my left arm and after an hour they finally decided to go with my right arm. The PICC line stayed in my right arm for a week and it has since been removed and feels and looks great. Just a little poke there. My left arm is heavily bruised and all my veins are bright red and my arm is severly swollen and hurts to move. It has been 5 days and ice and motrin are not helping any suggestions???
