One class at college include it on resume?

Rating:
(votes: 0)

I am re-doing my resume and I have a question regarding whether I need to put a part of my education on it. I already had a degree, but needed to take one class to enter an accelerated program. I took the one class at a community college and that was it. Should I include it on my resume? I think it looks bad because I just list it with no degree beside it. It looks odd when the other two colleges have my degrees beside it. Would it be bad to omit it? Thank you for your time.
I would omit just one class unless it was something of super dooper importance, over and above the entries that have a graduation date and degree to go with them. It will only take up space.

no, but message is too short so no again

You should omit it. Lot's of people take a class here or there at different colleges for whatever reasons. I transferred schools but only put the school I graduated from on my resume.

Omit it from your resume but keep in mind that if you ever apply for a degree more advanced than the one you hold, you will need to include a transcript from that one course when you apply to another school.I was told by a graduate school that it wasn't necessary to get a transcript for one class I had taken over twenty years earlier but got a phone call from a different person in the graduate office the Friday after Thanksgiving that I had to get that transcript to them immediately or my application was incomplete. The first person said that because it was a class I'd transferred into my BSN program it showed up on my undergrad transcripts and the second person said that I had to get the official transcript from the school, even if I had transferred in the class. I had the transcript sent via Fed-Ex. Sorry to get off track here but wanted to let you know that while you don't need to include this class on your resume, don't forget about it should you decide to to on for further education.

Comment:
Only include schools that you recieved a degree/certification from.

Comment:
i have taken classes from about 7 colleges. i only put the two I have my degrees from.

Comment:
I agree with the others. I'd leave the single course off the resume, but include a transcript from that school any time you need to "send transcripts."I have repeatedly run into questions about a course that I took abroad while an undergraduate. It shows up on my American undergrad transcript as "transferred from ..." Unfortunately that school doesn't send transcripts, forcing me to do some extra explaining, etc. on ocassion.
