Was I doing too much?Rating: (votes: 2) Don't be too over eager. You have had your interview, you have followed up (I hope that you sent a thank you for your time, I enjoyed meeting you, etc email as well) - now let the process work. I sit on our interview team, and there is a level of eagerness that is acceptable but there is a line you can cross. We had a nurse that worked in another department in our hospital that interviewed for a position... and literally came to our floor DAILY afterwards. When we told the RN no, they continued to show up and hassle the nurses, management, etc. So don't go overboard! Good luck. Comment:
A week is not a long wait to hear something about an interview. The facility likely has other candidates to interview, all the candidates have to be considered and a decision made, multiple levels of administration need to sign off on the final decision -- and large organizations tend to take a long time to do all of this. Best wishes!

Thank you, both responses are correct. Idk I guess not finding a job for almost a year is really taking a toll on my self esteem

Hang in there, the right one will show up when you least expect it!
