Is CRE any worse than the others?

So is CRE any worse than say VRE, MRSA, etc? The reason I ask is that at my place of employment in addition to putting patients with CRE on contact precautions, we are now required to throw all urine bottles from CRE patients into a bio hazard bag and trash. We can't dump the urine or empty it into the toilet and flush it as we normally would. We don't do this for any of our other contact precaution patients, only the ones with CRE. Any ideas on why? Is it really that much worse than the others or is it just the latest and greatest HAI?
