Any RNs with Chiari Malformations?

I know there have been posts about this, but they all seem old. I've had severe neck pain for several years and was diagnosed last spring with a 22mm Chiari malformation. I've had the cine MRI, the EMG, thoracic MRI, yadda yadda, and a small syrinx was found. Anyhow, I am in my last year of nursing school and am concerned about what the future of a nursing career may hold for me with this darn big brain of mine. I was hoping for some positive… or at least realistic…outlooks. What kind of nursing specialities are RNs with Chiaris working in? Thoughts, please and thanks.
Most people with Chiari lead perfectly normal lives. I don't have Chiari but I had brain surgery for a large brain tumor that caused severe seizures when I was 19 years old. I have worked in acute care pediatrics, school and pediatric home health. I don't think this will inhibit you. If the syrinx gets too severe, that's what decompression surgery is for.
