experience –
Overwhelmed and want to quit!!!Rating: (votes: 0)
I am a new nurse and have been at my first ,current job for 9 months. When I started I had crappy training. The turnover rate for this place is high and it so happened that the. Nurse that was training me was leaving. I finally get the hang of it and they throw me into ordering meds. I actually finally get that job figured out and actually doing excellent in it,when they throw me into a medical aides position...ordering labs ,scheduling appointments...following up on things. I had maybe two hours of training today between getting a individual up for the day and going on two appointments. Needless to say I had a rough day. Tomorrow I will be on my own..figuring things out. I'm afraid. I don't even k ow how to carry an order and they expect this. Please tell me it gets easier...give me advise please
