Best City in Texas

I am currently a nursing study in Iowa with one year left and me and my husband and really wanting to move to Texas we I graduate. What would you say is the best city for new nurses for pay and for cost of living??
I just moved down to Texas from quite a distance. I had offers from Austin, Dallas, and Houston and the best of the three was Houston overall. Austin has a higher cost of living and lower pay, but it is a considered a great place to live. Houston is enormous and has many, many hospitals that are hiring and have new grad programs. I have been in Houston for a few months now and have my full-time job and two PRN positions. Gotta love working in in-demand specialties!
