Any HRSA 2015 Applicants?

Hello nurses. I completed my associates degree in 2012 and just completed my BSN in December. I have decided to apply for the HRSA nursing loan repayment program this year in hopes that I will qualify and at least be considered in their awards. A fellow co-worker was awarded two years ago while working at the same hospital that I work at, so I decided it wouldn't hurt to try! I have started my application, but I am still waiting for my official diploma and/or transcripts from my BSN to prove completion of the program before I can move forward past the verification of schools and degrees portion of the application. I have done a lot of research and it seems to be a pretty lengthy application, but if awarded it will definitely be worth it. Anyone started the process or have any suggestions for those of us who are applying this year? Thank you fellow nurses!
Hi Sylvia,I have applied for the 2015 HRSA this year. So far my application status remains at "Under Review." I hear that means we submitted everything correctly, otherwise the application would not be considered for review. Have you heard anything yet? Good luck!

I applied as well !!! I am an RN with a hpsa17 and 178% debt to salary ... lets all make sure to post when we hear any news!!

Hi everyone, I still haven't heard anything in regards to my application. I really just want to know one way or the other! Anyone else hear anything?

@potential_oneYes, my application still states "under review." I know that in previous years applicants heard back as early as June or as late as September. So let's hope for something sooner than later.

@ ClaneRN,I absolutely agree, let's keep our fingers crossed. Reading the past threads I did see some July responses not June though but then I only went back as far as 2013. By the way, are you on the East Coast, West Coast, Mid-West?
