Los angeles sheriff dept

I plan on returning to Calif within the next yr. from Amarillo. I have 8 yrs exp in corrections as an RN both medical and psych. I have worked CDCR, DMH, COUNTY JAILS SACRAMENTO AND SOLANO CO. What is the scheduling. Is there an annual bid for slots. Is salary based off of experience? L.A. CITY JAIL wants to pay you at lowest pay unless you have ER exp. Any feedback greatly appreciated.
