ASU or UNLV ?Rating: (votes: 0) Hi!I grew up in Vegas and went to UNLV, albeit not for nursing. I also was born in Arizona and my dad went to ASU. If it were up to me, I would go to ASU, even though it ranked as one of the top party schools. If you aren't into the whole party scene, I would chose ASU, even though I don't know much about their nursing program. UNLV is a great school....for business administration, accounting...etc.I'm currently in CT, and I do plan on moving back to Vegas and will probably do the RN-BSN program. But to start out, I would chose ASU. Just my Comment:
Well since both places are HOT, I would choose ASU. I worked in Phoenix for 3 years, and nurses that came from ASU were great and had good things to say about the program.
Comment:
Do a search on this site of each school--I know there are threads about ASU's program and students' opinions of it. I have heard that ASU's program is really competitive to get into.

Thank you all very much.@ nursestudentAZ I'm rather new to this site and I'm not sure where or how to check threads? Can you please explain? Thanks

In either case your stuck in 110 degree weather for four months =d

I would base my opinion on how helpful each school is. Do they return phone calls. Do they answer all of your questions to your satisfaction. Also post on here and ask questions under "Nevada" nurses and "Arizona" nurses.
