1 Hello NYRN05, I'm sorry I had to post this here but it seems I don't have privileges to respond to you with a PM or email as I don't have enough posts. I only have 5 and it may be awhile before I have the required 15 "contributing" posts. Hope you see it, I didn't know what else to do and didn't want to seem rude.. lol.. Sorry to the staff as well, I don't wanna be a pain but maybe you could make exceptions for newer members to at least be able to respond if sent a private message by someone. Just a thought..

To answer your question, my classmate is working in the Weinberg Intensive Care Unit at Johns Hopkins. Pretty awesome, I'm happy for him. When he went to interview I guess they actually put him in some scrubs and watched him work then made him an offer.

To all others who may look at this so it's not a total waste, NYRN05 inquired as to what unit my May 2010 graduate classmate got hired on at John's Hopkins in Baltimore. Our program was in MN.

Maybe this can also inspire other new grads that's it's not hopeless to find positions. And to all those still in school, he was in contact with a recruiter there asking questions, "showing initiative", for probably a year before graduation. Might be a good idea in this climate to start early and be flexible!
thanks for replying....no prob about the post. awesome for him !
