Electronic Medical Records LTC are there grants?

Does anyone know how to write a grant? The LTC facility I work in still uses paper charts and the last facility I worked in had electronic medical records (EMR); there's a big difference! I would like to suggest to my DON and administrator a system called PointClickCare, but I know my facility is in the red right now and couldn't afford to switch to EMR. So I thought if I made a suggestion, I should have all my ducks in a row first.

Is anyone aware of grants to help facilities switch to EMRs? I've been to grants.gov, but it's a mess and I can't find a grant. I'm very new at grant writing (I've never done it.) Has anyone written a grant? How do I start? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.
