To SNF or not to SNF

If I want to do a "New Grad" program at a hospital this Summer, does that mean I have to stay unemployed as a RN until then? I'm getting conflicting info. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have seen new grad programs that state NO previous experience (not sure why) so it would be a good idea to ask about that. I have read other places here on all nurses that other new grads have run into this problem ascwell
