How to get employers to notice me... or my resume

I just finished an LPN to RN transition program and will be trying to find a job soon. There are over 100 students in my graduating class. How can I make my resume stand out and get employers to notice me? I do both long term care and pediatric home health, but I am not planning on staying in long term care. I would like to be able to find a job in wound care, but they are scarce in my area, and I do not intend to move. Obviously, there will be a lot of competition going on for nursing jobs in my area, and I want to make sure I'm one who scores a good job!
