Job Search Advice needed

Dear colleagues,
We recently moved to CT from UK for my hubby's job and I started my job search. I knew it won't be easy, so was ready not to be picky. Applied for tens of positions, haven't got any response at all. I've spent about 10 years on Surgical floor and have PACU experience, been nurse in charge, very good references, BCLS, ACLS.... Bills are piling up and I'm starting to be frustrated. Any advice? Appreciate your opinionJ.
