Better to Resign or be Terminated?

Rating:
(votes: 0)

Hello All,
Is it better to resign, or hold off and see if I will/won't be terminated?
I haven't done anything illegal, but i've been on suspension for a few days, because of 3-4 minor mistakes.
Thanks.
Resign then at the next interviews you can say it wasn't a good fit. If you are fired then you must explain all of those mistakes.

Haven't you already asked this question and gotten quite a bit of advice? You're probably going to get the exact same answers on this thread. It's not likely that anyone will change the advice they've already given you.

I think I would resign from a place that put me on suspension for minor mistakes! Nursing can be brutal, and I think they are trying to tell you something. Better to leave on your own terms, but I would certainly be looking for another position in any event.

Suspension is a tactic used to gather more concrete information to fire a person, without leaving out any pesky missed details. I'd rather be flat out fired than put on suspension.
