UW Medical Center and Seattle Childrens?

I am about to graduate with a BSN in August and would love to get a job at either UW Medical Center or Seattle Childrens, I am actually thinking about applying to UW's residency program. Does anybody know how receptive they are to new graduates, I went out of state (Auburn University in Alabama) for my education so I don't know if that will be a factor in the hiring process. I would love to hear any feedback!
I applied to a bunch of their jobs and never heard anything back.If you do, let me know. I gave up quickly as I feel both places are not into hiring new grads. People want to work there so they have their choice.Good luck!
