I recently graduated in June 2013 and got my license that same month. I worked at an Assisted Living PRN for about six months until I got a job for the Health Department in one of their programs. I really enjoy my job...I just got a call from the director of the assisted living and they were calling to offer me the director of nursing position at that assisted living. I said I would need some time to think about it... my hesitations are that I professionally am not ready, if I take it I know it will be overwhelming and I don't want to hate my job and hate my career path...advice please. Thanks
Do you like what you are doing? Is it relatively stable?DON jobs in ALF's and LTC are notorious for high turnover.

That's amazing good job but I agree wih CrunchRN. I've seen places that cycle through DONs rather quickly and that would make me nervous. Big decision u have here. Update?
