Clinical Supervisor Role

Hi I am looking at a clinical supervisor role posting for an Ortho/neuro floor. What do they do exactly? I've been a nurse and I'm currently a nurse practitioner and was wondering whether this kind of position would be interesting. It's located in a place where I'm really hoping to move my family.
A clinical supervisor at my hospital means charge nurse. I would call and inquire what the hospital title means.
