How long would you wait before you leftRating: (votes: 0) Yes, it would look bad. Comment: Yep, it would not look great. It is unlikely another hospital will be interested in you until you have 1-2 years experience. Go ahead and apply. The level of interest you get will be your answer.Comment: I would apply for the available jobs and see what happens. If you are offered a more desirable job -- I would recommend seriously considering it. Your current short-term job won't matter IF (and only if) you stay at job #2 for a respectable length of time. Having one short-term job is usually forgiven and you can explain it as a mistake that you corrected. But having 2 short-term jobs is the killer. It then starts looking like "job-hopping" and/or that there is something wrong with you that explains why you can't keep a job.So ... if you decide to take another job now, you have to be sure to stick with it for over 1 year (preferably 2 years) before you leave that 2nd job. But there is no harm in looking ... and if the other employer is willing to hire you now, your 1st job won't matter IF that 2nd job is a long-term success. That's the gamble only you can decide if it is worth the risk or not. Is the grass really greener on the other side of the fence?
