rt vs rn

Which career would you say has better working conditions and more autonomy?
It depends how you define good working conditions. Both can work in a variety of settings and have varying degrees of autonomy depending on the setting.
Comment:
RNs have much more autonomy in many areas. There are just so many options for RNs vs RTs. RTs are very skilled and many are very professional, however, their role is frequently overshadowed by RNs. RNs also make more money on average. I loved RT school, but in the end, decided to go where there was more career advancement opportunity. Cory, MS, RN, RRT, NP-C
