LTAC experience

I currently work as an RN BSN at a psych hospital. Eventually I want to work ICU or ED. Will working at an LTAC help my resume? I'm still a new nurse- having less than a year experience. The LTAC I'm looking at has an ICU. Do you think it will help or do most hospitals frown upon LTAC experience?
I have found that LTAC experience is a great stepping stone into hospital jobs. Most LTACs can provide you with experience dealing with skills needed to care for acutely ill patients, including ventilators.
