RN in dentistry

Does anyone know if RN can practice under a dentist in Flordia? I have 12 years experience as RDH and now am a licensed RN.
Technically, you would be practicing under your own license, not "under a dentist". The dentist would simply be the employer. To ensure that you are practicing legally, you should know the scope of practice as laid out by the state's nurse practice act.
Comment:
Well, you have your own license now, just like when you were an RDH. As an RN you would carry out any orders s/he writes. Are you thinking of working in a MFOS office? (I was a CDA/COA for many years before returning to nursing school). I can't think of any other role AS an RN in dentistry.Quote from melfl12Does anyone know if RN can practice under a dentist in Flordia? I have 12 years experience as RDH and now am a licensed RN.
