PRN positions

Which area of your hospital lists the most PRN positions? I trying to get a feel for what is currently needed on a large scale.

PRN staff are used more frequently in areas that experience the most unpredictable census variability... because that's the purpose of PRN positions - filling in at the last minute. In most hospitals, this is generally the med-surg units.
