Are my subjects from the Philippines will be credited here in Southern California?Rating: (votes: 0) I'mcurrently holding an LVN license here in California. I studied LVN program for a year here in OC. However I was studying BSN in the Philippines before I came here. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to finish it. I only reached up to to 3rd year and still have one more year to finish it.. I'm just wondering if I can use those subjects that I took in the Philippines to speed up RN program here in Calif? Is there any school that will give me credits will all those subjects that i took? I would really appreciate your response ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You would have to contact the school you wanted to go to and ask them. You will need official records or transcripts of the courses you took. Comment:
Agreed with Lori- Some people might be able to assist if you actually had a ASN/BSN from the Philipines, but some ed here and some ed there is a hard one. I honestly would have to say that the credits PROBABLY wouldn't carry over/transfer, but I could be wrong. If your transcripts are not English based, it will behoove you to translate them before turning them in.
