Finding the right pathRating: (votes: 0) ![]() It's going to depend on your area. Where I live a BSN is becoming preferred but if you can get a job with your associate's I wouldn't worry about it. Unless you plan on going into psych nursing or maybe public health I don't think your bachelor's in psych will get much notice. Comment:
Have you thought about mental health nursing? There are clinics that deal with adolescent mental health patients, teen drug addiction, teen suicide. In my area, we have comp care which runs several different half-way houses and some are for children/teens. Might be something you could utilize nursing and your psych degree. Also, in my area there is no difference in BSN or ADN. Most go to BSN if they are looking to further into a masters. Good Luck
