Thoughts on Christmas scrubs...Yea or No way?? Would I look like a goober or would I be in the holiday spirit???
I love wearing Christmas scrubs, there are some really pretty patterns. I don't usually start wearing them until at least after Thanksgiving though. There are some that are kind of more "winter" than Christmas that you can get away with wearing for a long time after Christmas also. (I need to go shopping )

I say ... absolutely! ... but it depends on the dress code, and on the culture, of your workplace

I am wearing them. My office wears them after thanksgiving.

I'll be wearing my Christmas tree and Santa print scrubs after Thanksgiving.

I loved mine... feeling bad that I can't wear them now in OB... Maybe I need to find a scrub jacket with a holiday print!I say have fun and wear them!

My facility wears them (LTC), I don't though. Being a poor student for so long, I can't afford scrubs with such a limited life. And I'm kind of a holiday scrooge too Retail wrecked me for holidays.

I had to wear whites, but I used to wear a small string of battery-powered multicolored lights over my shoulders. I'd place the battery end in my shirt pocket. I was festive.

I'm not a Christmas person at all. But I will get one special Christmas print to wear on Christmas day because I'll be working. I'm looking forward to spending Christmas day with my extended family at the LTC I work at. I don't live any where near my own family.

No way. In some environments, I suppose they are totally appropriate. I think they look unprofessional in adult acute care. I work with nurses who wear seasonal scrubs, so obviously not everyone feels this way. I wouldn't be caught dead in them; I would feel too much like a kindergarten teacher.

of course!!!!!! and even more so if you're in pedies. unless there were stringent rules against doing this, I would most certainly. this world is in enough hurt and any uplifting thing is a great idea. (military mom here). enjoy the holidays!!!!

Perhaps on Christmas day itself would be nice. I can see I'm in the minority but I'm not big on them. Just doesn't seem professional to me. I tried to get in the spirit a couple of years ago and wore some pumpkin earrings to work one day. Ended up being the day my patient stroked out and eventually passed away. I remember feeling stupid in those pumpkin earrings as I was telling the family their loved one is dying. But maybe I'm just a scrooge. I'm sure it depends on the workplace and the culture. Just promise us you won't wear them until after thanksgiving

It must be nice to be able to wear different patterns. My job just have blue uniforms we have to wear with their company name on it. It really sucks...
