Congratulations to you! I have been following your posts and am truely happy for you. Like you, there are times that I fear what the future may bring. It's the uncertainty, the not knowing, that feeds the fear, and we all need those around us to help keep the positive outlook, hope and trust. Please keep writing, you inspire many without realizing it. Life is good.

Good for you! I am sooo happy to read that you have landed in a good place.I find it intersting that your new job sounds much like that of a CNL, CNS, or Staff Development Specialist in a hospital. The things you like about the role sound like the reasons I have always preferred those types of roles over a straight manager job that includes the scheduling, staffing, etc. You get to focus on "helping the staff provide the best care possible" while not having to deal with all of the personnel and administration issues that drive people crazy.Am I right in my interpretation of what your job entails? If so, I can understand why you like. I've never understood why more nurses don't seek those types of roles. They are some of the best jobs in nursing.

BRAVO to you!!! It just goes to show you, God never closes a door without opening a window, even if that window may have been stuck for a while. You have gone on a scary and frustrating journey and have emerged a stronger person for it.I am so happy that you not only landed on your feet, but stuck that landing! Kudos to you and your future!

That is brilliant news!!! My advice is to make use of your commute and learn a new language, listen to some classical music or get an audiobook from the library. That way it won't feel like 40 minutes wasted, but instead will be 40 minutes of productive or enjoyable time.Delighted for you.

Things are always get better.
