pre employment drug screening?

when hospitals are hiring someone do they do the drug tests right there or send you to a clinic? Say for a cna.
depends. if they wanna hire you, they usually send you to occ health in the hospital. prob not the same day tho.

i currently work at a hospital as an aide (PCA) and the process was...1) apply2) interview (hiring decision)3) total health screening (titers, drug screen, pt eval, etc)4) hippa/computer training sessionall different days except 3 and 4 which made for the longest day... ughcould go either way, though... if i'd have been hired on a thursday, the health screening would have been that day.

unless you are afraid of the drug test results, what does it matter?
