Can anyone tell me about what is the "normal" nurse-patient ratio in a subacute facility setting? is 1:15 dayshift ok? or 1:30? thank you folks
Where I used to work as a CNA, the ratio for skilled nursing was:1 Charge RN1 Treatment LPN (dressings, insulin, nebulizers, etc)1 Med Tech (med-certified CNA)4 CNA's32 patientsSo the nurse/patient ratio was about 1-16, including the LPN and RN.
