need some help with seeking employment

I have been a prn nurse most of my career. however, now, i am looking for full time but need to be home in time for my kids when they return from school. i would really like to work in an ambulatory surgical setting but can't seem to find any jobs in my area. can anyone give me other ways(words) to search for ambulatory surgical centers? nothing is coming up and i am trying to search in charlotte, nc, which is a big city and it's surrounding cities. all help would be great! thanks!!

Same day surgery? Sedation? You might also call some of the larger hospitals and ask if they have outpatient surgery units.

Although not what you want, you might be able to find an extended care home health case where you can tailor your hours. I have met several nurses who work in extended care for just this reason.
