LOl. It's hard to find some good scrub pants to cover it.

I couldn't care less if my scrubs are fashionable. They're clean and you'll never see a whale-tail peeking from them. That should be enough. And since it's bound to come up again, no, I don't think you're a bad nurse if you don't wear makeup. I wear next to none, so it doesn't phase me.

I wish I don't have to wear makeup. My skin tones got worse since the nursing school and during the first two years of nursing. I believe it is related to the physical and emotional stress. I have to wear makeup. I look horrible without makeup.I try to wear clean, nicely shaped scrubs to compensate my aged skin tone this is my secret!

"Nurse in style" makes me think of breastfeeding, not working as a nurse.

Diane von Furstenberg designed some uniforms in the early to mid-1980s. I wore them. They were pretty and practical. (Keep in mind these were white uniforms, mostly dresses...not scrubs like we wear today.)

Check out the link from the Gesundheit Institute's (Patch Adam's) website. It has a few scrub tops and jackets that are pretty flashy (great for kids).
